S4:E160 – The New Earth Network ~ Community-based Education - Hila Russ-Woodland & Michael Fraser (The People's Reset 2025)

On January 31st, 2025 Hila Russ-Woodland and Michael Fraser spoke at The People's Reset as part of the theme Agorism and Parallel Networks.

The New Earth Network is an open and decentralized movement of parents, educators and others who wish to see all children healthy, happy, natural and free. We inspire families to be resilient, stay connected and trust their own creativity and inner guidance. Our unifying vision is to promote choices and freedom values. It takes a conscious loving village to raise children.

In our talk we will introduce how we came together, why we decided to stop trying to change the current education system and focus on how we can nuture a wholistic way of learning. In the presentation we'll also share new possibilities of schooling and describe how we empower families to collaborate and co-create learning pods. Our commitment is to support parents, educators and others who wish to work with children their own process of starting learning pods; a group of like minded families who wishes to co-create an alternative community-based education structure for their children.

Hila Russ-Woodland, FOUNDER, TEACHER, MOTHER.

With over 20 years of teaching and facilitating experience, Hila has been leading educational programs for all ages including Learning Pods alternative schooling for 6 – 26 children and youth camps devoted to dialogue & peacemaking through creative arts. In the past 10 years, she has run these programs outdoors and indoor licensed spaces generating up to $60,000 per year.

Michael Fraser, FOUNDER, FACILITATOR, FATHER

In a time where we need support as we feel excluded from the tribe, Michael comes with personal experience in overcoming the grief of being alienated from his family over beliefs. Through the arts, Michael has coached musicians to a higher sense of authenticity and emotional alignment. In the courses he facilitates, Michael transmutes pain into power! Empowerment is his ultimate goal for musicians, teachers, and children of this earth (that of which we are all).
